PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove anomalous image data generated by noises or defects of a pixel of an imaging element and compress background noises while minimizing the degradation of the image.SOLUTION: An image processing method includes steps of: performing 1×3 median processing horizontally and vertically to two-dimensional image data as an original image; subtracting the vertical median processing data from the horizontal median processing data; making as object image processing data the average of the horizontal median processing data and the vertical median processing data if the absolute value of these data is equal or below a set value while performing median processing of the original data, the horizontal median processing data and the vertical median processing data if the absolute value is below the set value; and making as target image processing data the selected intermediate data. |
