PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of having a control method for a heating body switched suitably and easily, to the power source situation, while maintaining the initial cost for the image forming apparatus to be low cost.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a power source substrate configured to be divided into a first circuit substrate, including a DC power source circuit and a second circuit substrate, including a power supplying relay and connected by a connector. In addition, the second circuit substrate is configured by a circuit substrate for frequency control, including a noise filter connected from a branching section for a second power supply line to a first power supplying line on the DC power source circuit side and a circuit substrate for phase control, including a noise filter connected from the branching section of the second power supply line to a first power supply line on a commercial power source side. Here, a discrimination circuit for discriminating the circuit substrate as being at least one of them is included and a control section switches to a control mode for executing the frequency control, when it is discriminated that the circuit substrate for frequency control is connected to the first circuit substrate and executes a phase control, when it is discriminated that the circuit substrate for phase control is connected, based on the discrimination signal from the discrimination circuit. |
