PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric conduction heating device in which a non-conductive straight tube member is arranged between curved tube members functioning as an electrode and a fluid material is Joule-heated in the non-conductive straight tube member, in which generation of spark is prevented without making longer the non-conductive straight tube member between the downstream electrodes, and making smaller kinds of the components, and which is applicable for heating of a high-viscosity fluid material and a solid-liquid mixed fluid material.SOLUTION: The electric conduction heating device which Joule-heats a fluid material by continuously flowing has a passage consisting of a straight tube passage portion of straight shape and a curved tube passage portion at both ends. The curved tube passage portion is constructed of a conductive curved tube member and the straight tube passage portion is constructed of a non-conductive straight tube member for the portion continuing from the curved tube passage portion. A conductive straight tube member is interposed at the middle portion between the both ends of the straight tube passage portion and power supply is connected to each conductive curved tube member and each conductive straight tube member, and electric current is made to flow between the conductive curved tube member and the conductive straight tube member through the fluid material flowing in the passages. |
