PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil strainer which effectively restrains suction of bubbles mixed in oil while keeping the total height low and miniaturizing the outer shape size.SOLUTION: The oil strainer 10 includes a body 11, a suction cylinder 13 protruded from the bottom surface 12 of the body 11, and a suction port 15 opened at the lower end of the suction cylinder 13 and positioned on a lower side than the lowermost of the body 11. A recessed part 16 is formed on a root 13a of the suction cylinder 13 on the bottom surface 12 of the body 11 by recessing the bottom surface 12, and a bottom surface 17 in the recessed part 16 is arranged (offset) in a position higher than the other bottom surface 12. A large height difference (H2) can be secured between the root 13a of the suction cylinder 13 and the suction port 15 while keeping the total height dimension (H1) of the oil strainer 10 obtained by putting the body 11 and the suction cylinder 13 together low, and therefore, the bubbles S1 mixed in the oil can be prevented from being sucked into the suction port 15. |
