PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetation method for groundcover plant preventing growth of weed to make certain vegetation of the groundcover plant and facilitate transplantation of the groundcover plant, and to provide a groundcover plant mat made by the method.SOLUTION: The vegetation method for groundcover plant (A) includes laying a shading sheet 11 over soil 10, covering the sheet with soil, laying a vegetation net 12 on the soil, covering the net with soil, and planting the groundcover plant (A) in the soil. Waste paper such as waste news paper may be used as the shading sheet 11. The groundcover plant (A) planted to be vegetated can be transplanted together with the vegetation net 12 to a transplantation place as a groundcover plant mat 15 so as to enable further vegetation. |
