PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat for automobiles which has sound absorbing performance and is excellent in sound insulation effect and anti-slip property, too.SOLUTION: The mat for automobiles having the sound absorbing performance, the sound insulation effect, and the anti-slip property can be obtained by opening many through-holes penetrating the backing layer of the mat for automobiles in the vertical direction to provide the sound absorbing performance, by forming anti-slip projections on the backing layer, and by providing swelling at the ends of the projections so as to increase its frictional resistance with a floor carpet. |
