<p>The method comprises applying a mixture of vaporizable liquid, a comminuted solid lubricant and a preservative (22) to finished rotary parts (20) of a transmission unit (27) and then drying, where a coating forms on the rotary parts, fitting the rotary parts with the coating into a casing of the transmission unit and filling the assembled transmission unit with a cooling liquid (25), which is primarily water, and subjecting the transmission unit into operation for the first time, where the lubricant for further operation is formed by the abrasion of the rotary parts. The transmission unit is then operationally ready (28). The lubricant consists of corrosion inhibitor. The cooling liquid and the mixture are added to the corrosion inhibitor. The volatile liquid in the mixture is water or alcohol with hydroxyl groups or its mixture. The coolant is hydrocarbon with two hydroxyl groups or a substance containing the groups. An independent claim is included for a lubricant.</p> |
