The hoe has an electrical motor (2) provided at a lower end of a guiding tube (26). The motor drives a worm gear (4) that is coupled with a worm wheel (5) in a transmission housing (16). Drive bolts (8) of a vibration unit (10) are arranged on plates that are connected with a drive shaft (6). Sides (14) of the vibration unit turning towards a user are provided with recesses (15) that are adjusted in a longitudinal manner on guiding bolts (17) that are fixedly supported in the housing. Sides (12) of the vibration unit that are turned away from the user are guided out from the housing.
