PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing device for a transaxle which can meet various types of transaxles with different intervals between their input and output shafts, and has a prolonged service life. SOLUTION: A drive motor 4 is connected to the input shaft of the transaxle 1 mounted on a mounting frame 2 via an input shaft torque meter 3. Dynamometers 9 and 10 are connected to a pair of output shafts of the transaxle 1 via axle shafts 5 and 6 having no angle to the output shafts (in parallel to the input shaft and the output shafts) and output shaft torque meters 7 and 8. One output shaft torque meter 7 and one dynamometer 9 are mounted on a first movement table 14 movable in perpendicular to the input shaft. The other output shaft torque meter 8 is mounted on a second movement table 17 movable in perpendicular to the input shaft. The other output shaft torque meter and the other dynamometer 10, which is stationary, are connected to each other via a constant velocity ball joint 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
