摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the catalyst deterioration of a fuel cell and improve the response and efficiency of energy of the fuel cell on intermittent operation.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 10 includes a fuel cell 12, a battery 74 which is connected in parallel via a converter 72 with the fuel cell 12 to an AC motor 78 to which a generated power from the fuel cell 12 is supplied, an ECU 90 which controls gas supply to the fuel cell 12 and controls the operation of the converter 72. The ECU 90 executes intermittent operation control of switching the mode of the fuel cell 12 between a normal power generation mode and a power generation suspension mode based on comparison between a power generation request P* made to the fuel cell 12 and a threshold Pthr, and executes control for changing the threshold Pthr in response to a change in an FC current Iwhile executing high potential evasion control in the power generation suspension mode.
