PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set in which each single color image has high weather resistance in glossy paper and a black image formed of three colors inks of cyan, magenta and yellow has a high optical density and results in even excellent metamerism.SOLUTION: The ink set comprises the cyan ink, magenta ink, and yellow ink. The cyan ink contains a compound having a triphenylmethane skeleton and a compound having a specific structure as a color material, and the magenta ink contains a compound having a xanthene skeleton and a compound having a specified structure as the color material. The yellow ink contains a compound having an azo skeleton as the color material. The difference between the maximum spectral reflectance and minimum spectral reflectance in a wavelength region of ≥430 nm and ≤650 nm in the black image formed of the three color inks of the cyan, magenta and yellow, and having the optical density of 1.0 is <49%.
