PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for preventing the breakage of an actuator arranged on a carrying passage during jam treatment.SOLUTION: An oblong hole 210 is provided in a carrying guide 112 which is rockingly pivotally supported by a supporting shaft 211 for supporting a crank shaft 221 of the actuator 107. An engaging pin 202 of an abutting member 200 which is rockingly journaled by a supporting shaft 201 arranged at a position different from that of the supporting shaft 211 is put in engagement with the oblong hole 210. Thus, with the abutting member 200 pushing a crank pin 223 during opening the door of the carrying guide 112, an arm 220 is stored in the carrying guide 112 to avoid the breakage during jam treatment.
