PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that calculates the total of counter values of different types of printing equipment.SOLUTION: A printing equipment management system includes printing equipment and an equipment management server. The printing equipment connected to a network has: a means for printing data; a means for counting the number print operations based on a plurality of counting systems and extracting and transmitting specified counter information; and a means for updating/storing the counter information of the plurality of counting systems. A personal computer has: a means for connecting to the network and transmitting/receiving the data; a means for transmitting the data to the printing equipment and printing the data; and a means for acquiring equipment management information from the equipment management server. The equipment management server has: a means for connecting to the network and transmitting/receiving the data; a means for storing information on the printing equipment connected to the network; a means for acquiring the counter information of the printing equipment; a means for storing the acquired counter information; and a means for creating data for displaying/operating the information on the printing equipment.
