PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card for information equipment, capable of holding the strength of the card itself to prevent breakage of a circuit board or the like, and also capable of preventing an erroneous operation or extraction of an SIM card under a condition attached to the information equipment.SOLUTION: The PC card 1 includes a card body section 3, and a card extension section 4. A chip slot 7 is provided inside the card extension section 4 to attach an inserted SIM card 2. The chip slot 7 includes a chip case portion 7a formed in a thin case shape with an opened one end, and the chip case portion 7a is disposed so that its insertion port is located on a reference facing surface 4a, and is constituted so as to reciprocate along the insertion direction A- or extraction direction A+, accompanying the insertion and extraction of the SIM card 2. A cut-out portion 8 for exposing a part of the SIM card 2 is formed at a mouth portion of the chip slot 7. |
