PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic clutch and an electromagnetic brake capable of restricting displacement of a driving shaft and a driven shaft when transmitting the rotation torque of the driving shaft to the driven shaft.SOLUTION: In an electromagnetic clutch and an electromagnetic brake, the concentricity of a driving shaft 1 and a driven shaft 2 with each other can be secured by forming a recess 11 in a friction surface of a rotor 3 fixed to the driving shaft 1, forming a conical projection 12 in a friction surface of an armature 4 fixed to the driven shaft 2, and fitting the recess 11 and the conical projection 12 to each other when the friction surfaces of the rotor 3 and the armature 4 are brought in contact with each other. |
