PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake improving productivity.SOLUTION: A pair of pad springs 23, 24 is provided with caliper retracting portions 31, and each of the engagement portions 32 of the claws 12 of a caliper 16 is applied with force in a direction where each claw 12 is separated from a disc rotor 2 in the center direction and disc axial direction of the claw 12 in a disc rotating direction by the pair of caliper retracting portions 31. Therefore, after braking is canceled, the caliper 16 is moved outward in the disc axial direction with respect to a carrier 3 to separate an outer friction pad 8 from the disc rotor 2. Thereby, it is possible to effectively suppress sliding in the disc brake 1. Also, easy configuration is achieved only by adding the caliper retracting portions 31 to the pad springs 23, 24. |
