PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply system which suppresses waste energy consumption due to unnecessary sterilization treatment of hot water in a hot water storage tank.SOLUTION: The hot water supply system includes: a hot-water-delivery-time calculating means 52 calculating a unit layer volume hot water delivery time which is time for supplying a unit layer volume Vb of hot water from the hot water storage tank 31 to a hot water delivery pipe 2; and a tank-interior-retention-time calculating means 54 which controls tank interior retention time for each layer of three hot water layers L1-L3 having the unit layer volume Vb and vertically stacked, and calculates the tank interior retention time by performing tank interior retention time updating processing for setting, in the hot water layer L1 of the uppermost layer and the hot water layer L2 of the intermediate layer, time obtained by adding the unit layer volume hot water delivery time to previous tank interior retention time of the hot water layer one layer below as the tank interior retention time of the layers L1, L2 and setting, in the hot water layer L3 of the lowest layer, the unit layer volume hot water delivery time as the tank interior retention time, each time the unit layer volume hot water delivery time is calculated by the hot water delivery time calculating means 52. |
