PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved seal capable of reducing leakage and/or the use of cooling air by sealing a gap or a cavity inside of a turbine engine.SOLUTION: A rotating part of a turbine engine is provided with a vortex protrusion 110 having an outer surface structured to induce a vortex flow pattern in rotation of the rotating part. A seal rail 106 extending in the nearly radial direction from a tip shroud of a rotor blade is provided with the vortex protrusion 110 to prevent leakage of an operating fluid from an upstream side to a downstream side of the seal rail 106 by the vortex flow pattern. A shank part of the rotor blade is provided with a vortex protrusion to prevent flow-in of the operating fluid into a trench cavity between the rotor blade and a stator blade by the vortex flow pattern, and the used amount of the purged air extracted from a compressor can be reduced. |
