PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise-monitoring system which can reduce costs and provides superior sound source determination performance for noise of not less than a control reference value, and to provide a noise-monitoring method.SOLUTION: The noise-monitoring system includes a detection/measurement means which detect/measure noise originating from a plurality of noise sources 21, 22 placed at predetermined points inside an area 20 and are placed at least two points, within the area 20 that allows detection/measurement of noise from the noise sources 21, 22, respectively; a determination means for determining sound pressure data for analysis at a point of the largest sound source; a comparison/determination means for comparing the sound pressure data for analysis, at a point of the largest sound source to a predetermined control reference value; and output means 7, 8 for outputting the comparison result. Such a configuration enables monitoring the noise in real time and is able, when there is no noise less than a control reference value which is arbitrarily set, to instantaneously determine which among a plurality of noise sources is causal noise source. |
