PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dressing, capable of correcting and setting a cutting edge of a cutting blade with one type of dressing board.SOLUTION: This method for dressing the cutting blade includes a correction step of cutting the dressing board a plurality times according to a first cutting depth and a first cutting feed speed and correcting an outer periphery of a cutting edge of the cutting blade into a perfect circular shape with the axial center of a spindle centered, and a setting step of cutting the dressing board a plurality times according to a second cutting depth and a second cutting feed speed and dressing the cutting edge of the cutting blade. The first cutting depth is set to be larger than the second cutting depth, and the first cutting feed speed is set to be lower than the second cutting feed speed. |
