PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cassette in which color information can be recognized by visually checking the appearance of the tape cassette.SOLUTION: The tape cassette 30 has a rear indentation 68C formed between the periphery of a cassette case and a tape housing area on a rear edge side of a bottom wall 30B. A rear indicator portion 900 for specifying the color information related to a tape is provided in a specified area R0 included in the rear indentation 68C. A tape color is specified by whether or not a protrusion is formed in a lateral information section Y1 among a plurality of lateral information sections Y included in the rear indicator portion 900, and a character color is specified by whether or not a protrusion is formed in a lateral information section Y2. |
