PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit images transferred to a server to the necessary minimum number.SOLUTION: This digital camera includes: an imaging means (S1) for imaging a subject image formed by an imaging optical system and outputting an image; a transferring means for wirelessly transferring the image by the imaging means to an external device; a face detecting means (S3) for detecting faces of persons from the image by the imaging means; and a control means (S4 and S5) for controlling the transfer of the image by the transferring means in accordance with the number of the faces of the persons detected by the face detecting means. |
