PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystalline polymer microporous membrane having high hydrophilicity, a long filtration lifetime and an excellent permeation flow rate, a method of manufacturing a crystalline polymer microporous membrane enabling efficient manufacture of the crystalline polymer microporous membrane and a filter for filtration using the crystalline polymer microporous membrane.SOLUTION: The crystalline polymer microporous membrane is greater in average pore diameter in the first surface than in the second surface and has two or more pore portions changing continuously in average pore diameter from the first to the second surface. The exposed surface of the microporous membrane is coated with a hydrophilic polymer having hydroxyl groups.
