PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component capable of maintaining the rigidity of a core for a long period of time.SOLUTION: The coil component 1 has a drum core 2 including a winding core portion 23, a first flange portion 21 formed like a plate and connected to one end of the winding core portion 23 and a second flange portion 22 formed like a plate and connected to the other end of the winding core portion 23, a winding 3 wound around the winding core portion 23 between the first flange portion 21 and the second flange portion 22, and a pair of terminal electrode in which one end of the winding 3 is wire-connected to the other end thereof respectively. In the coil component 1, a filling resin 4 for covering the winding 3 is filled between the first flange portion 21 and the second flange portion 22 in the drum core 2, a glass layer 8 integrated with the drum core 2 is intervened at least between the filling resin 4 and the first and second flange portions 21, 22, and the filling resin 4 is bonded to the glass layer 8. |
