摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability electrophotographic photoreceptor which aims at reduction of environmental burdens in a photoreceptor manufacturing process and improving production stability, ensures little variation of sensitivity due to environmental dependence, exhibits high responsiveness even in a low-temperature and low-humidity environment, is compact, has a high image forming speed, and can provide a high-quality image even in an environment such as a low-temperature and low-humidity, while reducing the total amount of energy used, that is, environmental burdens and also reducing the number of processes and manufacturing time.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing such the electrophotographic photoreceptor includes: (A) applying, onto a conductive support, a coating liquid for an intermediate layer comprising a blocked isocyanate compound, a resin having an active hydrogen-containing group capable of reacting with an isocyanate group in the blocked isocyanate compound, and an aqueous medium, and drying the resulting coating film under conditions which cause no resin curing, to form a precursor film of an intermediate layer; (B) applying a coating liquid for a photosensitive layer using an organic solvent as a medium onto the precursor film of an intermediate layer to form a precursor film of a photosensitive layer; and (C) heat-treating the precursor film of an intermediate layer and the precursor film of a photosensitive layer at the same time to bring the precursor film of an intermediate layer into resin curing and to dry the precursor film of a photosensitive layer, whereby an intermediate layer and a photosensitive layer are formed.
