PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the collision of two mounting heads in an electronic component mounting device with the two mounting heads.SOLUTION: The mounting heads are operated by a command from a motion controller, and encoders E attached to the mounting heads H1 and H2 output the position information of the mounting heads. When the first mounting head H1 and the second mounting head H2 are moving in the same direction, when one of the two mounting heads approaches the other mounting head, in order to prevent the collision of the two mounting heads, the condition of braking the movement of the approaching mounting head is determined using the position information commanded from the motion controller for the approaching mounting head and using the position information from the encoder E for the mounting head to be approached. Thus, the collision is more safely prevented. |
