PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass member with a sealing material layer where the cracks and splits of a glass substrate and a sealing layer due to laser irradiation onto the corner of the sealing material layer, the lowering of airtightness by the bubbling of sealing glass and the like are suppressed and to provide an electronic device using the same.SOLUTION: The glass substrate 3 includes a sealing region 7. The sealing material layer 9 comprising a glass material for sealing including sealed glass, a low expansion filling material and a laser absorbing material is located on the sealing region 7 of the glass substrate 3. The flame-like sealing material layer 9 is constituted of a straight line part 9a and a corner part 9b. In the sealing material layer 9, the range of the ratio (B/A) of the content B of the laser absorbing material at the corner 9b to the content A of the laser absorbing material at the straight line part 9a is 10-90%. |
