PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material with higher refractive index, higher Abbe number, and higher impact resistance to respond to endless requirements to a proposal on new compounds which can improve a high refractive index, high Abbe number, brittleness, and impact resistance of a plastic lens.SOLUTION: The resin obtained by hardening the sulfur containing cyclic compound having a structure represented by formula (1), (in the formula, a, b, c, and d are each independently represents integer of 0 or 1), has excellent optical properties such as a higher refractive index, and a higher Abbe number. |
