The invention relates to a fuel cell comprising a stack (6) of electrochemical cells and end plates (8) applying a clamping force on the electrochemical cells, a heat-management system made up of a circuit (10) for circulating a heat-transfer fluid inside the stack (6), and a circuit (12) for circulating heat-transfer fluid on the outside of the stack, the inner circuit (10) and the outer circuit (12) connecting at one of the end plates (10), the outer circuit (12) comprising a first sub-circuit (12.1) provided with a heat exchanger (14) and a second sub-circuit (12.2) connected directly to the inlet of the inner circuit (10), a thermostatic valve built into said end plate (8) to control the circulation of the heat-transfer fluid in one and/or both of the sub-circuits (12.1, 12.2) according to the temperature of said fluid at the outlet of the inner circuit (10). |
