摘要 |
The invention relates to an exercise bench especially designed to be placed in spaces for public use, which combines its function as an element for doing exercise with aesthetics such that it can be integrated, as a decorative element, into a space for public use such as a garden, a children's playground, a shopping centre or the like. The bench comprises a series of vertical posts (1, 2 y 3), horizontal posts (4, 5 and 6) and transverse posts (7, 8, 9, 10 and 11), two supporting boards (15 and 16), grab bars (12), and cylindrical bars (13 and 14). The most striking characteristic of said bench is the fact that it can be designed as a novel reinterpretation of the known Rietveld chair on a larger scale, as a monument, urban sculpture or symbol, the initial concept of said bench having been transformed in a revolutionary manner by modifying its original components and introducing other new components enabling it to carry out the functions described. |
