<p>Provided is a flushing unit capable of effectively recovering ink mist and suppressing the dispersal of ink mist. The flushing unit (4) is equipped with a box-shaped ink mist recovery mechanism (6) that recovers ink mist by means of the suction force of a fan (5), wherein the ink mist recovery mechanism (6) is equipped with an upper surface (8) and a droplet forming member (12). Ink mist generated during flushing is suctioned through suction holes (11) into the interior of the ink mist recovery mechanism (6) by means of the fan (5). Additionally, the suctioned ink mist is formed into droplets by means of the droplet forming member (12) disposed in a position corresponding to the suction holes (11). Since the ink mist is suctioned into the ink mist recovery mechanism (6) and swiftly formed into droplets, the ink mist is recovered without dispersing. Therefore, the effective recovery of the ink mist and the suppression of ink mist dispersal are possible.</p> |
