PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forceps support device, positioning a pair of forceps at desired positions with high accuracy, and achieving fine adjustment for the positions with high accuracy.SOLUTION: This forceps support device 1 for supporting the forceps 60 used for endoscopic treatment includes: a frame 2; a pair of forceps support sections 11, 11 provided at both ends of the frame 2; forceps support means 20 respectively provided to the forceps support sections 11 to support the forceps 60 in such a manner that the forceps can pivot in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction; and a drive means for pivoting the forceps support means 20 in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. The forceps support means 20 are each provided with a first arm 21 joined to the forceps support section 11 so as to be pivotable in the horizontal direction; a second arm 27 joined to the forceps support section 11 so as to be pivotable in the vertical direction; and a forceps support member 35 bridged between the first arm 21 and the second arm 27, pivotable in the horizontal direction while following the first arm 21, and pivotable in the vertical direction while following the second arm 27. The forceps 60 are supported by the forceps support members 35. |
