PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte battery in which a negative electrode active material layer and a negative electrode current collector are firmly joined, and the nonaqueous electrolyte battery obtained by this manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A first laminate 1 in which a solid electrolyte layer 30 and the negative electrode active material layer 22 are formed on one face side (positive electrode active material layer 12 side) of a positive electrode layer 10 is fabricated. Alternatively, a metal foil to form the negative electrode current collector 21 is prepared separately from the first laminate, and a second laminate 2 is fabricated by forming an adhesive layer 40 composed of an element selected from Si, Al, Ga, Ge, In, Sn, Tl, and Pb on one face side of that metal foil by a vapor-phase method. Then, the first laminate 1 and the second laminate 2 are superimposed so that the negative electrode active material layer 22 and the adhesive layer 40 are mutually opposed, and both laminates 1, 2 are mutually crimped by applying a pressure of ≥0.1 MPa. |
