PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and rapidly determine whether an optical spectrum of light to be measured is appropriate.SOLUTION: A calculation processing section 14 calculates a reference signal optical spectrum, based on information on a modulation system, a bit rate, and a signal light center wavelength inputted from an input section 12. A discrimination section sets an optical SNR level to the calculated, reference signal light spectrum to be a first criterion, and a permissive range in level and wavelength directions to the signal light spectrum to be a second criterion, compares the optical spectrum of light to be measured with the first and second criteria, and determines whether the optical spectrum of light to be measured to the first and second criteria is appropriate. |
