PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passerby detection device using a camera for person detection, capable of detecting a passerby with a simple configuration to reduce installation cost, and not needing much brightness for environment of the person detection in the person detection using the camera.SOLUTION: This passerby detection device 1000 includes a camera built-in light source device 7-1 incorporated with the camera and a light source, and a person detection part 102. The light source incorporated in the camera built-in light source device 7-1 is installed near an entrance 3 and irradiates light rays, and the light rays are blocked off by a person passing the entrance 3 when the person passes the entrance 3. The person detection part 102 executes decision processing of deciding presence/absence of the person passing the entrance 3 based on an image of an irradiation direction of the light rays irradiated from the light source photographed by the camera. |
