PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve error tolerance of audio data corresponding to an important period on an image, in packet transmission of audio data.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus comprises a means of detecting a featured region in image data. Thus, a period during which the featured region is detected, is determined as an important period of audio data requiring high error tolerance. By making error tolerance for audio data variable, for example, the face of a person is set as a featured image, a period during which the face is detected in moving image data is determined as a conversation scene, and error tolerance of audio data corresponding to the dace detection period is improved to a predetermined level. |
