PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder resin composition for aqueous inkjet ink obtaining aqueous inkjet ink that is excellent in abrasion resistance, fixability, and storage stability and resistant to friction between printed products upon continuous printing and contact with water, an alcoholic solvent, or a gasoline-based solvent, and that further improves discharge characteristics.SOLUTION: The binder resin composition for aqueous inkjet ink includes functional group-containing resin fine particles which are obtained by performing emulsion polymerization of an ethylenically unsaturated monomers including at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of an amide group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer, a hydroxy group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer, and a carboxy group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer, and at least one monomer with solubility in water at 20°C of 2.0×10g/cmor less selected from the group consisting of an 8-18C alkyl group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer, an aromatic ring-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer, and an alicyclic ethylenically unsaturated monomer. |
