PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an organic pigment dispersion which has a good hue and is in a crystalline state with a high α crystallization degree, to provide an organic pigment dispersion obtained by the method, and to provide an organic pigment composition containing it.SOLUTION: The method for producing an organic pigment dispersion is a method for preparing an organic pigment nanoparticle dispersion by mixing an organic pigment solution in which an organic pigment is dissolved in a good solvent with a poor solvent liquid of the organic pigment, in which the poor solvent liquid containing 60-99.9 mass% of an organic solvent and 0.1-40 mass% of an aqueous medium is mixed with the organic pigment solution to generate and disperse nanoparticles of a crystalline organic pigment.
