The invention relates to the selection of at least one dynamic node, in a mobile network, as a candidate for relaying a data communication signal between a transmitting entity and a receiving entity of the network. In terms of the invention: at least one first area (Z2) around at least one first entity among the transmitting and receiving entities (TER) is defined, beyond which a data communication signal is attenuated beyond a first predetermined threshold (R2); and the selection of nodes as possible candidates for relaying the communication signal on the basis of the definition of the first area is limited.
