<p>A method and base station for channel request control are provided in the present invention. The method includes: a setting step for separately setting a first threshold value corresponding to the channel request of each type, and setting a second threshold value corresponding to the overload requests of all types; a statistic step for accumulating the number of the overload requests of all types; a control step for discarding the overload requests and/or channel requests received after the number of the overload requests exceeds the second threshold value; wherein the overload requests are a type of channel requests received after the number of the channel requests of the type exceeds the first threshold value corresponding to the channel requests of the type. With the present invention, the following effects are achieved: a Base Transceiver Station (BTS) does not detect whether the channel is overloaded. The number of the channel requests is controlled by the BTS.</p> |
