An air winch for removal of a ship construction block support pipe is provided to enhance safety of work by preventing a cable connected to a support pipe from being unwound by braking a drum with an auto brake in case of cutting off of compressed air. An air winch(100) for removal of a ship construction block support pipe includes a drum(120), a driving unit(130), and a frame(110). The drum winds a wire(300). The driving unit has an air tank(132) to store compressed air and a pneumatic motor(134) to rotate the drum. The drum and the driving unit are installed at the frame. The driving unit has an air filter to filter the compressed air introduced in the air pressure motor, a regulator to control a quantity of the compressed air, and a lubricator to supply a lubricant to the pneumatic motor. The frame has a base plate(112) and a plurality of supports(114). The drum and the driving unit are installed on an upper surface of the base plate. The supports have a predetermined length in one direction and are spaced apart from a bottom surface of the base plate.
