A relay method of an RS(Relay System) using a direct relay zone in a multi-hop relay system, and its system are provided to prevent delay and effectively manage resources. When an RS receives a frame from a BS(Base Station), it demodulates a data burst of a direct receiving zone(241) for a downlink section without decoding it, modulates the demodulation result, allocates the same to a direct transmitting zone of an optional transparent zone(242), and transmits it to an MS(Mobile Station). When the RS receives a frame from the MS, it demodulates a data burst of a direct receiving zone(246) for an uplink section without decoding it, modulates the demodulation result, allocates the same to a direct transmitting zone for the uplink section, and transmits it to the BS.
