PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send out a new remote control signal by simple operation to a remote control signal to which a remote control device does not correspond. SOLUTION: A predetermined image is photographed by a remote control device, predetermined information is acquired by analyzing the photographed predetermined image by the remote control device, and a remote control signal pattern for remote operation previously allocated to each of operating buttons is changed on the basis of the acquired predetermined information. For example, the predetermined image is displayed on a screen of a device remotely operated by the remote control device. In such a case, the device may previously hold information for displaying the predetermined image or may also acquire, from the outside, information for displaying the predetermined image. Otherwise, a server holds information for displaying the relevant predetermined image and the predetermined image may also be displayed on a screen of a computer device connected with the server via a network.
