摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shift to handover at inappropriate timing corresponding to communication statuses of a communication application in a radio communication terminal, and to prevent the situation of falling into a state incapable of handover due to the decline of a reception signal level with a base station to a data communication impossible state. SOLUTION: The radio communication terminal 100 which performs handover control with the base station detects whether or not reception signal quality with the base station is lowered to a first threshold or below by a first detection means 110, detects whether or not the communication statuses of a communication application program during communication at present are statuses suited to the handover by a second detection means 120, and detects whether or not a predetermined handover forced shift condition is established by a third detection means 130.
