PURPOSE: A laver counting apparatus is provided to install the apparatus in between a laver roasting device and a laver packaging device to count the number of laver while laminating. CONSTITUTION: A laver counting apparatus(100) comprises a first aligning unit(110), a counting unit(120), a defect discharging unit(130), a second aligning unit(140), a loading unit(150), and a controller. The first aligning unit includes a transfer line and an alignment guide belt to transfer laver. The counting unit includes a right/left support plate for laminating the laver in a pre-fixed number. A defect discharging unit includes a transfer conveyor(132) driven by a second motor(131) to transfer the laver, a discharging plate, and a cylinder to move the discharging plate.
