The invention refers to the electrical engineering, particularly to the powerful mid- or high-voltage transformers. It is proposed to make transformer as series and/or parallel connected modules, consisting of low-power electronic transformers without intermediate constant current circuit, combining modules according to the necessity in blocks and the blocks in sections, where each section consists at least of one block, at that in case of multi phase, for example, three phase transformer solution each phase is connected to at least one section. To create the transformer with specified parameters, sections, modules and modules in blocks should be connected in appropriate configuration, including star, delta and/or interstar connection. The high-voltage insulation is assured by arranging all mid- or high-voltage circuits on one side, and low-voltage circuits on the other side of the insulated plate. The transformer shell is made of insulating material, with metal, for example copper, buses for mentioned section and outer leads connection to the transformer, embedded in the shell walls. Overall view of the transformer structure variant is shown in the Fig. 1.
