The lamp insert has an elongated support element (20) arranged around a longitudinal axis for receiving circuit boards (30) for LEDs. A structural element (10) is connected with the support element, and supports the support element in a lamp housing. An electrical operating device (50) is provided for electrical supply of the LEDs and arranged on one of the circuit boards. The structural element stands in thermal contact to the support element. The operating device is integrated with the structural element.
