PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of detecting accurately the fact that own vehicle is an ETC utilization car, even when an ETC on-vehicle instrument is not connected. SOLUTION: This navigation device loaded on the vehicle is characterized by being equipped with a map information storage means for storing map information; a vehicle position detection means for detecting a vehicle position; a map-matching means for specifying the position on a map stored by the map information storage means based on the vehicle position detected by the vehicle position detection means; and an ETC utilization determination means for determining that the vehicle is an ETC utilization car, when determined that the vehicle position passes an ETC lane by the map-matching means.
