A negative electrode mixture material is provided to contain a certain amount of a lithium-containing composite nitride having discharge capacity greater than charge capacity, and thus prevent discharge of a secondary battery. A negative electrode mixture material containing a negative electrode active material includes a certain amount of one, two or more lithium-containing composite nitride represented by the following formula of Li_(3-x)M_xN in order to prevent discharge of a secondary battery. In the formula, M is one, two or more metal or transition metal elements selected from the group consisting of Co, Ni, Fe, Cu, Zn, Cr, Cd, Zr, Mo, Ti, and V, and 0<x<3. The lithium-containing composite nitride exhibits high discharge capacity at 0.5-3.0V. |
