<p>A WAP gateway and a method for implementing charging control for prepaid user includes: wireless application protocol WAP gateway exchanges related information with the charging system according to the different server request of the prepaid user, and collects and controls the related fee according to the exchanged information. The invention can effectively realize real-time charging and neatly configure the charging policy, in order to realize the flexible charging of the various fee rates and satisfy the require of the flexible charging of the provider; and in order to ensure the good efficiency and reliability of the charging by saving the charging session in the gateway in some time. When downloading the big file, if the flow has be pre-deducted and the user enjoys the essential server due to various abnormity, the invention can compensate the flow.</p> |
